Dev Mode To begin, you must put your device in developer mode as shown below.
This allows you to install apps that Roku hasn't yet approved.
  1. Press Home-Home-Home-Up-Up-Right-Left-Right-Left-Right on your remote.
  2. Write down the URL, and confirm you wish to enable dev mode on the device.
  3. Enter a new password.
  4. Visit the URL you wrote down in step 2.
  5. Username: rokudev, Password: password from step 3.
  6. Click Upload, and provide the zip file downloaded at the top of this page.
  7. The application is now installed, and can be used on your device.
updates Updates will not automatically install, download and perform steps 5-7 above to update the app.
